Artists and Makers – Leatherwork

Our area has such a rich manufacturing history – it feels like most products we use every day were invented or originally made here. I source my materials from some of these historic companies – leather, waxed canvas, and copper rivets. I find purpose as an artist bridging the gap between this history and a customer who needs a functional, heirloom quality bag.

To make our wares, we gather materials from fle markets and old shoppes. Every item bears morks of a not-fully-known and not-quite-finished past.
