Notes: A collaboration with Yuji Kubo: this traditional Urushi pattern is made partly by dropping pine needles into the wet Urushi, with numerous subsequent layers added before finally removing the needles. There is also a dusting of very fine metallic powder dropped between the layers of Urushi to develop its deep opalescent quality.
