Alice Thompson (she/her) founded Kite Curiosities LLC in 2020 as a public project blending kite-making, printmaking, teaching, and creative placemaking. Since making her first kite in 2009, she has collaborated with schools, artists, and community groups to offer joyful arts experiences and custom workshops in the Greater Philadelphia Area. She holds a B.F.A. from Binghamton University and an M.F.A. from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, with a focus on drawing and printmaking. Her work includes kites and layered cut paper installations.
