Alloy Atelier

Located on the ground floor in the historic Bok Building, Alloy Atelier offers both 3 hour workshops and 8 week classes with a focus in jewelry and metal working. During each workshop, students leave with a finished piece of jewelry and an introduction to the tools and equipment in the studio. The 8 week classes offer a deeper dive into technique. We offer an intro to jewelry class as well as a special focus class each session.

Neighborhood Potters

In our classes we give a hand-building demonstrations each week. We work with the wheel throwers one on one, based on skill levels. Our Fairmount studio/classroom has four potter’s wheels and space for eight or nine hand builders. (Class size is limited to twelve.) Returning students with throwing experience can reserve a wheel, however, we ask them to share their wheel so students who have completed one session of hand-building can learn throwing. Our focus tends to be on hand building because success comes faster.
