Marbled paper making

Using shaving cream and food coloring, youth will mix and blend colors then to make marbled paper to take home.
Paper marbling has been an ancient art form used in different cultures for years. The design created on the paper resembles patterns that are similar to marble or stone. These techniques are used on fabric, book covers, and stationery.

Sámi Bracelet Making

The Sámi, the indigenous people of Scandinavia, are best known for reindeer herding and for their distinctive style of handcraft called duodji, which includes useable and highly decorated objects like clothing, shoes, baskets, and drums. Learn about the Sámi people with a bracelet craft inspired by duodji that incorporates traditional Sámi colors and patterns.
