Philadelphia’s Playstreets

Philadelphia’s Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for craft activities to enhance their Playstreets program, which is slated to begin on July 6, 2020. Playstreets extends out into all Philadelphia neighborhoods and is designed to bring meals to students during the summer enhanced by educational and physical activities. 

More than 50 years ago, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation started Playstreets. This program closes designated streets to traffic so that kids have a safe place to play when school is out. Playstreets take place in every neighborhood of the city with over 300 to 350 locations.
